Privacy Policy

Ecom Agent

1. Who we are

Ecom Agent is a sole proprietorship operating from California, United States. Contact: shophelp26@gmail.com.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers ecomagent.store and the Ecom Agent service. We currently serve customers in the United States.

2. What we collect

Information you give us Account information. Your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only as a cryptographic hash by our authentication provider — we never see or store the password itself.

Purchase information. When you subscribe, Shopify sends us the order number, the email on the order, the Shopify customer identifier, which plan you bought, and the order’s payment status. We never receive your card number, expiry, or security code. Shopify handles payment; we only learn whether it succeeded. Advertising and commerce data. When you use the Meta Growth Analyst, your AI client sends us a snapshot of the campaigns, ad sets and ads you selected, including: spend, impressions, reach, clicks, landing page views, add-to-carts, checkouts, purchases and purchase value campaign, ad set and ad names, statuses, budgets, bid strategies and optimisation events creative details you supply, such as format, concept and ad hook text

commerce figures from your Shopify store — net sales, order counts, average order value, and your per-order costs Analysis history. We keep each analysis we produce: the figures it ran on, the recommendations it made, and the report text. This exists so the agent can compare periods and tell you what changed since last time. Without it, every analysis would start from nothing.

Information collected automatically Server logs recording requests to our service — timestamps, IP address, and which endpoint was called — kept for security and troubleshooting. Standard Shopify storefront analytics apply to the website itself and are governed by Shopify’s own privacy terms.

What we do not collect We do not collect payment card details, government identifiers, or any special categories of personal information. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not run advertising pixels of our own on the account portal.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use your advertising or commerce data to train AI models.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers, and only for the purposes above: Supabase — database and authentication. Stores your account, entitlements, order records and analysis history on servers in the United States. Railway — hosting for our application server. Shopify — storefront, checkout, payment processing and subscription billing.

Your AI client is different, and worth understanding. The agents run inside a client you choose and control — Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, or similar. Your data passes through that provider under their privacy terms, not ours. When your client reads your Meta Ads account through a browser extension, that happens on your machine, under your control, governed by your agreement with that provider and with Meta. We do not access your Meta account and we hold no credentials for it. We may disclose information if legally required, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If the business is sold or transferred, customer information may transfer with it. You would be notified.

5. How long we keep it

If you cancel and do not resubscribe, your advertising data and analysis history are deleted 30 days later. That grace period exists so an accidental cancellation or a lapsed payment does not immediately destroy your history. After it passes, the data is gone and cannot be restored. You can ask us to delete it sooner. See section 7.

6. How we protect it

All traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Connection keys are stored as salted hashes, never in readable form. A key cannot be recovered — only revoked and replaced. Database access is restricted by row-level security so one customer cannot read another’s records. Webhooks from Shopify are cryptographically verified before being accepted, so forged purchase notifications are rejected. Secrets are held in server environment configuration, never in the storefront or anywhere a browser can read them.

No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your own password and connection keys safe.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

California residents. Under the CCPA and CPRA you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the other rights apply and are exercised through the same email address. Deleting your account ends your subscription and removes your access. Records we must keep for tax and accounting are retained as described in section 5.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and where practical we will notify subscribers by email.

1. Who we are

Ecom Agent (“Ecom Agent”, “we”, “us”) is a sole proprietorship operating from California, United States. You can reach us at shophelp26@gmail.com. These Terms govern your use of the Ecom Agent website at ecomagent.store, our subscription plans, and the AI agents and connection services we provide (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Ecom Agent provides subscription access to AI “agents” — software that analyses advertising and commerce data you provide and returns written analysis and recommendations. The agents run inside an AI client you supply and control, such as Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex. We provide a server that verifies your subscription, performs calculations, and returns results to that client. We do not provide the AI client itself, and we do not control it.

The Service is advisory and read-only. It does not place, edit, pause, or delete advertising campaigns. It does not spend money on your behalf. It does not change anything in your Shopify store or your Meta Ads account. Every action taken as a result of our analysis is taken by you.

3. Accounts

You must create an Ecom Agent account to subscribe. You are responsible for keeping your password and any connection keys secure, and for everything done through your account. Connection keys (tokens beginning ea_) grant access to your subscription. Treat them like passwords. If a key is exposed, revoke it and generate a new one from your account page. We store only a hash of each key and cannot show it to you again after it is created.

One subscription covers one Ecom Agent account. Do not share your account or keys with people outside your business, and do not resell access.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Plans are billed monthly through Shopify, which handles all payment processing. We never see or store your card details. Current plans and prices are shown at ecomagent.store. Prices may change; we will give notice before a change affects your next renewal.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then ends. No refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including partial months, unused time, and periods in which you did not use the Service. If you cancel mid-period you keep access until that period ends; you do not receive money back.

No free trial. Access begins when payment is taken.

Automatic renewal — California disclosure Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. What you are charged: the monthly price shown for your plan at checkout.

How often: once per month, on the anniversary of your subscription start date. Until when: indefinitely, until you cancel. How to cancel: from your account on ecomagent.store, or by emailing shophelp26@gmail.com. Cancellation is processed immediately and stops all future charges. We will not require you to call, wait, or work through retention offers to cancel. When cancellation takes effect: future renewals stop immediately; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. We will give you between 7 and 30 days’ advance notice by email before any price increase takes effect, and notice of any material change to the Service.

Non-payment. If a renewal payment fails, access may be suspended or ended without notice.

5. What you must not do

You may not:

resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own reverse engineer the Service, or attempt to extract the underlying methodology, prompts, or knowledge base use automated means to bulk-extract our analysis or knowledge content share connection keys outside your business use the Service for anything unlawful, or to analyse advertising accounts you do not own or are not authorised to access attempt to gain access to another customer’s account or data

We may suspend or end your access for breach of this section, without refund.

6. Third-party services

The Service depends on services we do not control:

Shopify — your purchase, subscription and billing Meta — the advertising platform your data comes from Your AI client (Anthropic, OpenAI, or another provider) — where the agent runs and where results are displayed Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, not ours. You are responsible for complying with Meta’s terms when accessing your own advertising account, including any terms concerning automated or programmatic access. We do not access your Meta account; your AI client does, at your direction.

If a third party changes or discontinues its service in a way that breaks ours, we may modify or discontinue affected features.

7. Your data

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You keep ownership of the advertising and commerce data you provide. You grant us permission to process it in order to operate the Service, and to retain analysis history so the agents can compare periods over time. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your advertising data to train AI models. You are responsible for having the right to provide the data you submit.

8. No guarantee of results

This section matters, so it is written plainly.

Our agents produce recommendations from the data supplied to them. Advertising results depend on your product, your creative, your pricing, market conditions, platform behaviour, and decisions you make. We do not guarantee any level of advertising performance, return on ad spend, revenue, or profitability. Analysis is only as good as the figures given to it. If the data supplied is incomplete, mis-measured, or attributed differently from how you assume, the analysis will reflect that. The Service flags some inconsistencies it can detect, but it cannot detect all of them, and a clean-looking report is not proof that the underlying numbers are right. Nothing the Service produces is financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice. You are responsible for decisions about your advertising spend.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise any particular uptime. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. Features may change as the product develops.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost advertising spend, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your data, your advertising decisions, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice.

On termination, your access ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and where practical we will notify subscribers by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
